He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cahalane and Mary Hamilton Cahalane. He is survived by: his wife Helen Cahalane of Pittsburgh; his siblings, Thomas Cahalane, Susan Cahalane Cicalese and Betsy Cahalane; his nephews, Michael Cicalese, James Cahalane, John Cicalese, Ryan and Jack Hess; his niece Carolyn Cicalese; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Oliver Cicalese, Ryder Hess, Juliet Cicalese and Stella Hess.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to NAMI of Southwestern PA in Jack's honor.
