He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John J. Donovan, Jr. and Marie Allen Donovan; and his son John J. Donovan IV. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Shaffer Donovan; his son Jeffrey T. Donovan of Washington, NJ; his brother Thomas A. Donovan (Diane) of Allison Park; his granddaughter Rachel Marie Donovan of Washington, NJ.; his daughter-in-law BJ Donovan (Jane Roberts Gardner); and his sisters-in-law, Gert Small of Bonita Springs, FL and Shirley Snyder of Volant, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
