We are sad to announce that, on January 12, 2026, at the age of 88, John E. Hooper Jr. (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John E. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John E. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Hooper Sr. and Ruth; and his brothers, E. Dale Hooper (Barbara) and Robert W. Hooper (Charlotte). He is survived by: his siblings, Mary J. Lishok (Joseph) of Lawrenceville, GA and Steve Hooper (Elizabeth); and his pet Ashley.
