He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Haines and Ray Haines of Washington; and his brothers, Jim, Robert and Richard.
He is survived by: his son Terry (Laura); his grandchildren, Madeleine "Maddie" and John "Jack" of Alexandria, Virginia; his sister-in-law Rose Bonazza Hall (Jack); his nephew John (Shirley); his niece Louise (Roger); his brothers-in-law, James (Cherie) of West Mifflin and Richard (Margaret) of Lititz; his nieces, Sally Haines Tusing, Rebecca Haines Gray (Melvin) and Katy Thompson; and his nephew Doug Haines (Marco).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care (3287 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA 15317). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church of St John (120 Abington Dr, McMurray, PA 15317).
