It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Kania (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Kania; and his brother Jim Kania. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Kania; his sister JoAnn Davis; and his sons, Joshua Kania and Joseph Kania (Katharine Perry). He is also survived by his extended family, his many lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc. (2944 Chartiers Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15204). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
