He was predeceased by: his sibling Jered "Bear" Lane; his parents, Vincent Lane and Jane Lane (Wolf); his mother-in-law Doris Ganster; and his niece Jenna Krivanek.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lane (Ganster); his siblings, Jim Lane (Robin) and Jacquelyn Lane (David Joseph); his sisters-in-law, Carole Panucci (Andy) and Debbie Krivanek; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Panucci (Daniele), Jason Joseph (Natasha), Josh Joseph, Jane Koman (Nick) and Jesse Lane; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Riley Krivanek, Gianna Panucci, Jack and James Koman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
