It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Phillis Sr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Phillis Sr. and Margaret Phillis (Goga); and his wife Carolyn Phillis (Zagorac). He is survived by: his daughter Melanie; and his siblings, Leo, Pete Jr., Mark, Jeffrey, Gregory and Christine.
