He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Pizzella and Caroline Car Pizzella; his wife Patricia Pizzella; his siblings, Alfred, Lena Spada, Anita Thornton, Dolly Bonomo and Theresa Pizzella; and his son-in-law Gregory Lelis.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Christina Lelis (Gregory); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Lelis (Kaley) and Emily Lelis (Mike Skraba); his stepson John Pizzella Jr.; his children, Trey Pizzella, Caroline Pizzella (Garrett McElwain), Julia Pizzella and Mary Ann Smith (Robert); his grandchildren, Jacob Smith (Maria), Allison Grosik (Ryan), Stephanie Smith and Samuel Smith; his son Justin Pizzella (Kathy); his grandchildren, Kristopher Pizzella and Lia Pizzella; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett Smith and Henrik Gregory Lelis.
