In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Redfield and Elsie Redfield; his wife Susan H. Redfield; and his sisters, Frances Redfield Addington and Eva Redfield Rubin.
He is survived by: his children, John S. Redfield (Cynthia Gerall) of Houston, TX, Anne Redfield Dale (Timothy Dale) of Mercer, PA and Elizabeth Redfield (Thomas Banse) of Olympia, WA; and his grandsons, John C. Redfield of Brooklyn, NY, William Redfield of Houston, TX and Adam Dale of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair or the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
