He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Hughes and Betty Jayne Pearse Hughes; and his siblings, Janine and Mark. He is survived by: his brother William Hughes of Cleveland, Ohio.; and his in-laws, Donald Frederico (Catherine) and Dr. Andrew Lucas (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
