He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann (Kipe) and William; and his brothers, James (Jimmy) and Michael. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Tihey (Kacsuta); his children, Erika Knowles (Steve) and Adam Tihey; and his sisters, Jan Smith (Jerry) and Mary Ellen Stinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
