We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2026, at the age of 81, John R. Zavada (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Zavada and Mary Zavada (Banik); and his sister Mary Zavada. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Zavada (Makin); his sons, Gregg and John Zavada (Sam); his stepchildren, Timothy Puccetti (Melissa) and Dawn Kobylanski (Michael); his grandchildren, Luray Pfister (Ethan), Tricia Johnson (Alex), Mikayla Kobylanski and Morgan Kobylanski; and his great grandchildren, Kasper, Marilyn-Ann and Felicity.
