With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph T. Deet (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Joseph's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Deet and Justin Deet; his son Gregory J. Deet; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Haver. He is survived by: his wife Susan Deet (Donahue); his daughter Nancy L. Deet; his brother Denis Deet (Maggie); and his brother-in-law Joseph Haver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles W. Trenz Funeral Home, Inc. (11110 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Parish (33 Lewin Ln, Pittsburgh, PA 15235).
