He was predeceased by : his brother Mark. He is survived by : his wife Antonia Hensler; his children, Bradley Hensler (Daesha), Derrek Hensler (Kerri) and Kendall Hensler; his grandchildren, Madison, Caden, Morgan, Delanie, Harper, Lane and Hudson; and his siblings, Kathi Manz (Leo), Richard Hensler (Sue) and John Hensler (Diane).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care (3287 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA 15317). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Oscar Romero Parish- St. Patrick (317 W Pike St, Canonsburg, PA 15317).

His love for community led him to hold significant roles, including President of the Eighty Four, PA Chamber of Commerce and President of the Scholarship Foundation for Canon McMillan School District.
