She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Maturcanik and Andrew Maturcanik; her husband Steve Lanick; and her sisters, Ann, Susan, Mary, Elizabeth and Helen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Staub (Charles) and Karen Reif (Edward); and her grandson Steven Reif (Katie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (123 Gilkeson Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15228). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Julia to Holy Cross Monastery, 505 Holy Cross Road, Wayne WV 25570.
