She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Bernotas; her parents, Vincent McDermott and Hazel McDermott (Hoskins); and her siblings, Jimmy, Carole Anne, Denise, Marlene and Gerald.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Mark Storino), Robert (Christine Paisley) and Mark Bernotas (Amy); her sister Peggy Jo Anderson (Ron); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Kellen, John, Alexia, Laci, Lynsey and Alia.
