It is with sadness that the passing of Kathleen Schauer (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is shared. Kathleen, born on September 6, 1950, passed away on June 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Kathleen will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Kathleen by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Kathleen is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Kathleen’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward A. "Butch" Schauer; her children, Marnie O'Connor (Daniel) and Edward J. Schauer; her sister Gina Sestili (Ralph); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Schauer; and her grandchildren, Jack, Dixie and Waylon.
Any money raised in lieu of flowers will go toward a food drive for Arsenal students to help ensure that children and families in need have access to food throughout the summer months.
