He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brown and Patricia Brown; his parent-in-law Sandy Wansolich; and his brother Kevin. He is survived by: his spouse Dara Brown; his children, Justine Campbell (Jonathan), Amanda Rachuba (Ryan) and Kirk Brown Jr. Gampy of Leighton Campbell; his father-in-law David; and his siblings, Kathy, Keith, Karen, Kim, Kristy, Kay and Kerrie. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
