We are sad to announce that, on October 20, 2025, LaVerne Pompa of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard Anthony Pompa; her parents, Elvira DePastino and Domenico DePastino; and her pet Snoball. She is survived by: her children, Gerard A. Pompa, Jr. (Susan Pompa), Gina Marie Pompa, Amy Santucci of Francesco Santucci, M. D. and Richard D. Pompa (Michelle Neely); her grandchildren, Anthony Gerard Pompa, Annelise Holtz (Richard), Michael Francis Pompa (Kathryn), Domenico Gerard Nicassio, Maria Dominique Nicassio, Vittorio, J. D., Christopher Gerard Santucci, Daniella Arabella Santucci and Darlene Amelia Pompa; and her great grandchildren, Dominic Gerard Pompa and Juliana Marie Pompa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Remembrances may be made to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh or Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (Hamilton Avenue).
