He is survived by: his wife Judy Reis Makowski; his daughters, Sharon Sweeney (Michael), Lauren Makowski and Sara Hamilton (Jamey); his grandchildren, Jay Johnson, Haylie Koch, Brendan Marryott, Madison, Rees Hamilton and Charlotte Sweeney; and his siblings, Thomas Makowski (Peggy) and Dennis Makowski (Lyn).
