He is survived by: his wife Judith; his sister Maria Mader of Elizabeth City, NC; his nieces, Linda McGraw (Jim) of New Bern, NC and Denise Haun (Rick) of Elizabeth City, NC; and his nephew Regis Mader of Hertford, NC.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
