He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Doyle and Leona Doyle; his brother James Doyle; his wife Rita Doyle (McLaughlin); his former wife Carole Doyle (Rumstay); and his stepson William McLaughlin.

He is survived by: his significant other Cecelia Rosella; his children, Robert Doyle (Carie (Reeb) Doyle), Sharon Doyle, Beth Doyle and Jennifer Doyle; his grandchildren, Michael Miklos, Evan Miklos, Casey McFarland (Doyle) and Taylor Doyle; his great grandchild Charley Tankovitz; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Molly, Colleen, Erin, James, Thomas, Jeff and Brian. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ball Funeral Chapel, INC Email (600 Dunster St, Pittsburgh, PA 15226). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Ball Funeral Chapel Inc. (600 Dunster St, Pittsburgh, PA 15226). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
