With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leonard J. McConnell of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand McConnell and Hilda McConnell (Hershel); his son Lenny McConnell Jr.; his close friends, Gert Trybus, Pat, Ron, Jake and Paul; his brothers-in-law, Bobby Jr. and John Slattery; and his nephews, Dave McConnell and Michael Trybus.
He is survived by: his wife Annie (Slattery); his daughter Mandi Huff (Mike); his brother Bob McConnell of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Brayden, Colton and Baya Huff; his father-in-law Bob Slattery; his siblings-in-law, Jim, Patrick Slattery, Linda and Anne; his aunt Lenora; and his brother-in-law Walter Trybus.
No services will be held at Len's request, but if desired, donations can be made in his name to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as well as The Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE).
