We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2023, at the age of 100, Lillian P. Kozel (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Kozel, Sr.; her grandson Christopher; and her siblings, Ella Snidar, Rose Sinkovec, Mary Mihelich, Veronica Brotherton and Max Sinkovec.

She is survived by: her sons, William J. Kozel, Jr. (Lisa) and Robert G. Kozel; her grandsons, Kevin, Craig (Hilary) and William III; and her great grandchildren, Catherine Emma, Nathan, Nolan, Tanner and Holden Kozel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“As a young boy it was always a big deal when Great Aunt Lilly & Great Aunt Emma visited my grandparents (Valentine and Mary Mihelich). Uncle BIll and the boys would come over on a Sunday and the whole family would turn out_my mom Clara, LouElla, and Irene. There were always stories and singing. That has been at least 55 years. I still remember how gentile and good natured she was then, and that is the way i will always remember her. Your sorrow is shared by our family. Paul”
