She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Martha Banks and Haywood Smith Sr.; her daughter Torrie Jean Malachi; and her siblings, Nora, Haywood Jr., Nelly, Stella Mae, Pearl, Franklin, Jake, Bobby, Elsie, Linda, Carol and Jerry.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Erica Nicole Beckham and Kendra Monique Malachi; her great grandchildren, Dominique, Camryn, Aniya, Kailey and Kyaire; her sisters, Bessie Smith Butler and Nancy Smith; and her son-in-law Kenneth Malachi. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care (5405 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136).
