He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Parks and Bertha Parks; his daughter Gloria Diane (Glo); and his wife Brenda Mae (Cobb). He is survived by: his son David Louis Parks (Dave); his sister Gloria Parks; his children, Lisa and Cherisse; his nieces and nephews, Rodney, Michael, Stephanie, Crystal, Jeffrey, Tasha, Gwen and Jennifer; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Jean Brumfield.
