He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scardetta and Philomena Tordalino Scardetta; his sisters, Rosemarie Matlak and Cecelia "Sissy" Scardetta; Diane Matlak.
He is survived by: his nephews, Matthew Matlak (Gypsy), Mark Matlak (Karen) and John Matlak; and his brother-in-law Joseph Matlak.
