In the sacred silence of farewell, Louis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ann Silvestre (Ricciuti); his siblings, Leonard Silvestre (late Nannette), Maria Silvestre and Antoinette Silvestre; and his parents, Pietro "Pete" Silvestre and Gaetana Silvestre. He was also cherished by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A prayer was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Blessed Trinity Parish (3198 Schieck St, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
