With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luca Elliot Scheiwer (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 1. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Mark. He is survived by: his parents, Kiera Turman and Zachary Scheiwer; his grandparents, Lisa, Melissa and Billy; his uncle Deion (Kayla); his aunt Chelsey (Devin); and his cousins, Raegan and Myles. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, friends.

A child who was a transplant recipient became a donor and his legacy lives on as he was able to also donate to research.
