She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Roberts and Miriam S. Roberts; her son Kevin J. Plavan; and her brother Stephen M. Roberts. She is survived by: her daughter Katherine L. Plavan; her husband John C. Plavan; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Thomas, Elaine Linkenheimer, Frank, Trena Plavan, Juliana Anthony and Karen Plavan. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to the Northland Public Library Foundation or the Hillman Cancer Center.
