He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie J. Staley and Richard C. Staley; and his wife Susan Staley (Berry). He is survived by: his close friend Marianne Czapliewicz of Canonsburg; and his siblings, Susan Stiffler (late Paul) of Bethel Park, Richard Staley (Joyce) of Belleville, Nellie Skone (Guy) of Pottstown, Cindy Staley Barghausen of Canonsburg, Laura Delach (Jeffrey) of Canonsburg, Chris Staley (Carol) of Hickory and Shawn Staley (Pam) of Hickory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Andy in a special way can give a memorial donation to a Bricklayers Scholarship to be established in his name or towards a memorial firepit and gathering spot at the cottage, a place he truly loved.
