She is survived by: her children, Joseph Schmaeling (Alison), Paul Schmaeling (Jennifer) and Jean Valentine (William); her grandchildren, Kristen (Max), Dana (Michael), Kelly, Sami (Danielle), Julia (Joshua) and Michael (Erin); her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Eli and Rose; and her brother David Reiss (Betsy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
