He is survived by: his wife Neelaben; his daughter Sujata (Paul Mouck); his grandsons, Matthew and Kevin; his children, Tushar (Vanita) and Shyam; and his brother Ashok Patel (Vimoo Patel). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends.
During the COVID years, he dedicated countless hours to teaching friends how to play over Zoom.
