It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Rhodes (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 14, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Efiginia Rhodes Tirado; his brother Joseph Jr; his half-brother Kenneth Seals; and his father Joseph Rhodes, Sr.. He is survived by: his close friend Anna M. Jackson; his daughter Shelby Rhodes of Chester; and his siblings, Edwardo Rhodes of Bloomington, Ernesto Rhodes of Midland Texas and Teresita Snyder (Christopher Snyder) of Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in Manuel's name.

“I was talking with my daughter who happens to live in Shaler Twp, and thought of Manny, with whom I attended a summer program at the Mt. Hermon School in 1966. We were both born in 1950, and a year or so later we met for a day in my hometown of New York. He was a great friend at Mt Hermon. I looked up his name and discovered the obituary. He was also very proud of his older brotherwho had been named to a Federal Commission, showing me the article in the Pgh Courier. Manny was great. (Carl Rabbin”
