Margaret M. Mickey Obituary
Age 87 of Greentree, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom and Jack Dudas; and her sisters, Irene Dudas and Josephine Beck. Margaret is survived by her son, John David; and her seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren all living in Melbourne, Austrialia.
She is also survived by two nephews, Tom Dudas, Jr., of Hartford, CT and Greg Dudoff Schenectady, NY; and a neice, Susan Hois of Murrysville, PA. Margaret grew up in Wilkinsburg, PA and attended Duquesne University, obtaining a BS in Biology. She went on to work for many years as an instructor at the Mercy Hospital Nursing School.
She loved her work and many of her students remember her fondly as a thorough and caring teacher. In her private life, Margaret had an active retirement with frequent volunteer work and hiking around the Pittsburgh area as a member of a walking club. She was also an avid cat lover, and when she could she always had a pet cat.
Friends received from 10 am to 11 am. at which time a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am in Marion Manor Chapel, 2695 Winchester Dr., Greentree, PA In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion Manor.
