She was predeceased by: her parents, John Swartz and Agnes Swartz (Everly); her husband Joseph A. Parris; and her siblings, Linda Howenstein, John Swartz, Nancy Entin and Richard Swartz.

She is survived by: her children, David Parris, Bobbi Darcy (Charles) and Nicole Podskalny (Andy); and her sister Barbara Murray. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
