Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Benjamin B. Tonti; her children, Nancy J. (Tonti) and Ali (Mir); her grandchildren, Jennifer Powers and Noor Miller; and her great grandchildren, Jonah, Sam, William and Alia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home, Inc. (1501 Lowrie St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Parish at St. Aloysius Church (3616 Mt Troy Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15212).
