He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Pomerantz; his parents, Dorothy Pomerantz and Abe Pomerantz; and his son Lowell Pomerantz. He is survived by: his children, Michael Pomerantz, Ellen Pomerantz (Bentley Pittavino) and Linda Pomerantz; his grandchildren, Philip Wedner, Mindy Hilton (James), Brendan Pomerantz and Lowell Pomerantz Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln Hilton, Cooper Hilton and Hunter Pomerantz.
