With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Moses of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sibling Mercy; her parents, Alexander and Lena Moses, Sr. (Johns); and her siblings, Alexander Moses and Rose Marie Moses.

She is survived by: her brother Joseph Moses of Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 3333 Fifth Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15213 or the Carlow University Scholarship Fund.

“In loving memory of Mary Ann Moses, Someone so special will not be forgotten. She was my 5th grade teacher at St. Mary's in Lawrenceville. I can remember her beautiful voice and some of the songs she taught us. I remember when the Bucs won the 1960 World Series, Sister Emerencia jumped for joy so high she nearly reached the ceiling in the classroom. I still have a letter she wrote to us kids wishing us a good summer.”
