She was predeceased by: her daughter Alison Zavidny; and her parents, Leo Hoffman and Donna Hoffman. She is survived by: her husband Joseph A. Fricker, Jr.; her daughter Bethany DiLucente (Eric); her granddaughters, Grace and Madelyn Zavidny; and her son-in-law Ron Zavidny.

She also created a charity to provide new tennis shoes to first graders called Just for Kicks.
