With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Schaffer (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Jane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Jane farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick A. Schaffer Sr.; and her parents, John Rush and Jessie Rush. She is survived by: her children, Carol McAfee, Linda Echement, Patricia Baker (Jerry) and Frederick A. Schaffer Jr. (Robin); and her sister Carolyn Hassall of Fort Myers. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many loving relatives and friends.
