She was predeceased by: her husband Timothy J. "Ted" McCarthy; her parents, John J. and Mary A. Carey (Foy); and her brothers, John J. "Jack" Carey (Joyce Bufalini) and Brian Carey (Johnnie).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Patricia Bernauer (James) and Timothy Sean McCarthy (Maureen); and her grandchildren, Patrick J. Bernauer, Timothy M., Margaret K. and Sean T. McCarthy. She is also survived by in-laws, many nieces, nephews.
