It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mathias J. McDonough of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McDonough and Ella McDonough (Higgins); his wife Athena McDonough (Hellmann); and his sons, Charles, Garry and Brian McDonough.

He is survived by: his children, Michele McDonough of Los Angeles, CA, Loren Greenway (Glenn) of Butler and John McDonough (Carolyn) of Penfield, NY; and his daughter-in-law Catherine Bould of Sanibel Island, FL. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
