She was predeceased by: her father Tien Ko Chen. She is survived by: her mother Ana E. Chen; her siblings, LeeAnn Chen and Diego Luis Alvarado; her significant other James "Mouse" McCarthy; her nephews, Diego A. Alvarado and Victor A. Alvarado; and her sister-in-law Norma G Beyza.
