We are sad to announce that, on November 9, 2025, Melanie Jill Cohen (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Melanie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melanie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marlene Terkel and Howard Cohen; her stepmother Denise Cohen; her sister Lori Schiller; her nieces and nephews, Sophie and Allie Schiller; her aunt Marilyn Galbraith (Roger) of Irwin; and her uncle Martin Kaufman (Shelly) of New York.
