With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa A. Carothers (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Jennifer Matheny; her parents, John Carothers and Arlene Carothers; and her brother Richard Carothers. She is survived by: her sister Susan Carothers; her sister-in-law Ruth Carothers; her sibling's children, Damon and Courtney Carothers; her son-in-law Donald Williams; and her great-nieces, Sola and Annika Kwiatkowski. She is also survived by friends, family, classmates, and co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, we request donations be sent to The Light of Light Mission, the Salvation Army, or to the Women's Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh.
