Merle leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Merle’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Merle will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Madelyn G. Eschman (Leabscher). He is survived by: his son Merle Eschman IV (Amy); his grandchildren, Megan Neumaier (David), Melissa Eschman and Matthew Eschman; his great grandchildren, Julia Rae Neumaier and Piper Madelyn Neumaier; and his siblings, James Eschman (Dolores) and Mary Eileen Hall (Dennis).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Merle's memory to the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) to support cancer research, or to the Great Dane Rescue Alliance to help rescue and care for Great Danes in need.
