He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Delahunty and Elizabeth Delahunty (Grehan); and his siblings, Sean Delahunty, Maura Dennis, Elizabeth King and Patricia Hierlehy.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine Delahunty (O'Brien); and his children, Bernadette Kapko, Michael P. Delahunty, Josephine Paytas (Ken), Elizabeth Spangler (Brian) and Patricia Alexander (Donald). He is also survived by "PopPop" to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
