He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Christine Riedel (David), Michael S. Cunningham (Norma), Patricia Cunningham and Timothy Cunningham (Stacie); his former wife Lee Comport; his parents, Catherine Cunningham and Martin Cunningham; his siblings, Thomas Cunningham (Sharon), Barbara Skirda, Martin Cunningham (Mary Ann) and Dennis Cunningham; his wife Beverly Crigler Cunningham; his grandchildren, David Riedel (Katie), Robert Riedel (Jennifer), Lauran Michael (Shawn), Laine Thompson (James Heil), Ellie Brien (Hugh), Richard Price, Adam Price, Hana Price, Morgan Cunningham and Samantha Cunningham; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Josh, Adelyn, Sutter, Avrilynn, Jack, Ivy, Remi, Silas, Hugh, Margot, Van and Bridget; his sister MaryJo Sherrer; and his friend Patricia Matschner. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Slater & Sons Inc. (301 Virginia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, USA). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Mount Church (407 Grandview Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting masses to be offered for the repose of his soul.
