He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. McHale and Marie McHale (Zellmer); his wife Nancy J. McHale; his sister Carol Ann Russell; and his brother-in-law Frank Russell.

He is survived by: his son Wesley Dale Hall; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Hall; and his siblings, Patrick McHale (Linda) and Mary Ellen Schaltenbrand (Michael). He is also survived by his family and many friends.
